Rocketbelt vs. jet pack?
"Jet Pack" is a very familiar term made famous by Super Hero's in
comic books, movies and TV. Our Rocketbelts have been referred to as Jet
Packs for over 20 years. This is a common mistake but non-the-less appreciated.
A Rocketbelt uses rocket technology by forcing hydrogen peroxide through a catalyst
to generate thrust. A "Jet Pack" uses a jet engine which runs on
a gasoline blend to generate thrust using a motor turbine. Control wise, a
rocket has an immediate response when "throttled up" where a jet has a
lag. This makes the Rocketbelt more responsive than a jet pack would be.
There are devices out there that claim to be a jet packs but they are
not. It is actually rocket technology which is not as powerful nor do they
go fast! Issues with throttle up and the inherent "flame out"
risks associated with a jet engine is much more hazardous than the Rocket
motor. This is why The Rocketman uses the proven technology of rockets
instead of jets.
After the creation of the Rocketbelt in 1961, Bell Aerospace created an
actual "Jet Pack". The device only flew a few times and was
retired in the late 1960's.
There are claims to be "jet packs" for sale but any technology is
still many years away or it is actually a rocket device which is not of
the same quality of Powerhouse. In either case, Buyer-beware, just
because you see The Rocketbelt fly safely and effortlessly the devices being
sold are not the same!

Are there any other
Rocketbelt devices?
Although some have attempted it, most unsuccessfully. There are
less-than a hand few having minor success. You can tell the difference by
a lack of power, shorter flight times, canceled shows and bigger than life
claims.
Our 20+ years of impeccable performances
combined with the proven reliability of thousands of safe flights, happy clients
and wowed audiences around the world will assure years of quality Rocketman performances.
There are many false claims out there, so if you are in doubt about a device,
ask to see a demo reel, proof of liability insurance, and list of clients.
You will find, The Rocketman is the one and only company providing Qualified Rocketbelt
Pilots and a proven vehicle to operate!

Who created the Rocketbelt?
The Rocketbelt was originally created by Bell Aerospace for the military in
the 1950's. Kinnie Gibson flew one of the original Rocketbelts.
Kinnie purchased the manufacturing rights to the key element of flight. His unique knowledge of
rocketry and insight lead him to create the next generation of Rocketbelts. This much-improved
design increased flight time by 30% and eliminated a few minor flaws from the
original. The incredibly stable construction and reliability offers
years of flight with a more modern look that still captures the nostalgic look
of the late 50's.

Purchasing a Rocketbelt?
It is the policy of Powerhouse Productions that we do not sell or provide any

regarding the Rocketbelts or it's operating systems.

How
can I fly the Rocketbelt?
It takes numerous
flights just to master the basic controls. Because of the high cost,
difficulty and skill required to fly a Rocketbelt it is not feasible nor cost
efficient to provide that service.
Therefore we do not offer flight lessons to the public.
Our pilots are not Dare-Devils, they are highly skilled and
experienced Stuntmen. Besides going through months
of rigorous training, our pilots are experienced and comfortable
with live action situations and last minute
interviews.
More men have walked on the moon than successfully flew the
Rocketbelt. Therefore, only the highest quality
individuals are selected. We take into consideration
positive attitudes, safety consciousness, confidence and moral
character. We absolutely forbid drug use or legal
substance abuse. Our support team is selected based on those
same strict standards. You can count on it!

ever schedule changes we do not generally post them on our website.
If you are a client and interested in a demonstration flight please contact
us with the particulars of your request so we can arrange a special visit or on
